Based at Bear Rock Indoor Climbing centre in Warwick University near Coventry, Warwick University Climbing Club (WUCC) has an excellent training facility for instruction, practice and performance training.
We have over 300 members from a wide range of climbing backgrounds, absolute beginners to very experienced climbers.
With so many members, we try to go on as many trips as we can to various climbing locations across the UK, including Wales, the Peaks, Bristol, Northern Limestone and Portland.
We run annual trips to Europe, in the last few years we have been to Sardinia, Siurana, Sicily and El Chorro.
Further to this, we run epic socials both off and on campus every week. Everything from curries, Pop! to the awesome bar traverse, film nights, BBQs and clubbing!
When not climbing, we can be seen around campus slacklining in the summer, and doing a spot of spontaneous yoga! There’s always something for everyone, We’re a super friendly and open club.
So what are you waiting for, 300+ members can’t be wrong, come down to a club night and find out what WUCC is all about!
